Groupe des Aidants du Sud-Ouest (GASO) works to enhance the quality of life for family caregivers in Montréal, Quebec, by addressing the challenges they face, promoting recognition, and striving to meet the needs of adult caregivers in the region.
With our support, GASO will create online, on-demand training modules to provide working family caregivers with practical strategies and emotional support. GASO will also offer one-on-one support and work with employers to raise awareness of caregiver challenges.
This project will help improve the quality of life for thousands of working caregivers in Quebec, reduce their psychological distress, and spark systemic change in the way employers address caregiving responsibilities.
We are proud to support this program as a vital resource for caregivers in Quebec, giving family caregivers the tools to succeed both at work and in caring for their loved one.
