Funding will support the Rotary Flames House project, the only pediatric facility of its kind in Alberta, which offers specialized care for children with complex, life-limiting conditions. Family caregivers will receive respite services, allowing them to rest and restore their well-being while children receive expert medical care in a comforting, home-like setting. The addition of a nurse practitioner will provide essential support to caregivers following acute care admissions.
